Qualifications

• Proficient in at least one major editing suite (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of social media trends and ability to edit for multiple platforms.
• Creative storytelling with a keen eye for visual appeal.
• Self-directed and capable of managing multiple projects in a startup environment.
• Genuine passion for digital games, card games, or collectibles.
• Bonus: experience with AI-assisted editing tools (Descript, Runway, Opus Clip) and CapCut for mobile editing.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form video into high-impact short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Cut, caption, and format videos in 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 aspect ratios.
• Reformat older footage to create new promotional content.
• Collaborate with the digital marketer to maintain brand aesthetics and style.
• Meet tight deadlines and adapt direction based on engagement metrics.
• Optimize pacing, transitions, and sound design for social platforms.
