Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urdu, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, English, Education, QA, or related field.
• Native or near-native Urdu proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong grasp of English to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years of Urdu writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, or related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: spot-check Urdu items and provide feedback.
• Trainer/QA communication: update on Discord about guidelines and project changes.
• Question handling: respond clearly on Urdu wording, context, RTL formatting, and edge cases.
• Activation management: DM inactive contributors and track follow-ups.
• Documentation: create Urdu project docs, style guides, trackers, and onboarding materials.
• Onboarding/training: run sessions to explain expectations, rubrics, and Urdu requirements.
• Quality alignment: ensure consistent use of Urdu guidelines and adapt to updates.
