Job summary

Across Clocks is seeking a Junior Architectural CAD Drafter to support a U.S.-based architecture and engineering firm. This hands-on role focuses on converting measurements, sketches, and photos into accurate drawings.

You will work on floor plans, elevations, roof plans, and site plans. Part-time remote position with potential to transition to full-time, with training on Chief Architect and company standards provided.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD or similar architectural CAD software.
• Ability to produce accurate floor plans and exterior elevations from field measurements, sketches, dimensions, and reference photos.
• Experience preparing architectural drawings for residential or similar building projects.
• Ability to understand and document existing building conditions.
• Experience working with dimensions, annotations, layers, linework, and standard architectural drawing conventions.
• Ability to revise drawings based on markups, comments, and updated project information.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing or unclear information before proceeding.
• Ability to work independently on clearly defined drafting assignments without constant supervision.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert field measurements, hand-drawn sketches, dimensions, photos into architectural drawings.
• Produce floor plans, elevations, roof plans, site plans, and drawing revisions.
• Participate in training on Chief Architect and company templates.
• Support a U.S.-based architecture and engineering firm on residential and insurance-related projects.
