Job summary

World Business Lenders seeks a Head of Financial Planning to lead FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across the group. You will direct the FP&A team and collaborate with department heads to assess performance and plan expenditures.

This role requires U.S. GAAP and IFRS expertise, advanced Excel skills, and a track record of presenting to executives, investors, and boards. Fully remote with Eastern Time hours.

Qualifications

• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of both U.S. GAAP and IFRS and applying both frameworks to planning and reporting.
• 20+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 8 years leading FP&A or planning teams.
• Expertise in financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication; able to present to executives and boards.

Responsibilities

• Direct company-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting.
• Manage annual budget, reforecasts, and long-term plans with department inputs.
• Develop and maintain consolidated income statement, balance sheet, and cash-flow forecasts.
• Oversee loan portfolio forecasting, NPLs, REO, recoveries, and portfolio impact.
• Forecast liquidity and financing needs; assess capital with various scenarios.
• Build and review financial models and sensitivity analyses for growth plans.
• Evaluate channel and product profitability and pricing proposals.
• Prepare management reports comparing actuals to budgets and explain variances.
