Job summary

SmartPropFirm is seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our Product & Engineering team. You’ll build, maintain, and improve software products for the prop trading industry, including trading tools, customer dashboards, rewards systems, marketplaces, and other platform features.

You’ll work on full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js, collaborate remotely, own features end-to-end, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Hands-on full-stack web development experience and REST APIs.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to debug and optimize performance and use AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features across our web platform.
• Build scalable frontend and backend solutions and deliver production-ready code.
• Own features end-to-end from development through testing and deployment.
• Integrate APIs, databases, authentication, and third-party services.
• Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Leverage AI development tools to accelerate development.
