Job summary

FairJ Consultancy is seeking a Software Developer to work full time remotely on student-visa and admissions software. You will design, code, test, and maintain applications, collaborating with counseling and operations teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You will contribute to data management, reporting, performance tuning, and security, while following best practices and participating in code reviews. An emphasis is on end-to-end ownership and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer with end-to-end delivery.
• Strong frontend and backend development capabilities.
• Experience with React/Next.js, Node.js or Python frameworks, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, and data modelling for scalable apps.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/Cloud deployments and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software in a full-time remote role.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs with teams.
• Automate workflows and improve data management and reporting.
• Contribute to performance, security, and documentation.
