HireGate HR is seeking an Embedded Firmware Developer for GPS tracking and telematics systems. You will design, develop, test, and optimize firmware for IoT devices with a focus on reliability and power efficiency.

The role requires hands-on work with C/C++, RTOS, embedded Linux, and various communication modules. You will collaborate with hardware, backend, and operations teams to deliver robust solutions for transportation and logistics applications.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on firmware development for GPS/tracking systems.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux.
• Strong knowledge of GPS/GNSS and cellular modules.
• Ability to work on hardware interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN).
• Strong debugging and field testing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for GPS tracking devices.
• Implement OTA update mechanisms.
