Web & Rank LTD. is seeking an SEO professional who owns outcomes across client accounts, from initial audit to monthly discussions. You will perform keyword research, craft briefs, and specify technical tasks for developers. You’ll monitor AI-driven search visibility and report honestly about progress each month.

The role requires 3+ years in SEO, strong SERP interpretation, and fluency with Google Search Console and Ahrefs/SEMrush. Remote work with overlapping UK afternoons is standard.

Qualifications

• Three or more years doing SEO where you owned the outcome
• You can read a SERP and explain why a page is there
• Fluent in Google Search Console plus Ahrefs or Semrush
• You write clear English that a client would actually read
• Enough technical literacy to work with a developer: redirects, canonicals, rendering and structured data
• Genuine curiosity about how AI search picks its sources
• Willing to say \"this will not work\" to a client with reasoning
• At least four hours a day overlapping UK afternoons

Responsibilities

• Own organic search for a small number of client accounts from audit to monthly review
• Do keyword and topic research that survives a SERP check
• Write briefs and sometimes pages when needed
• Identify and specify technical work for crawlers, internal linking, schema and Core Web Vitals
• Track brand appearances in AI assistants and AI Overviews
• Report monthly, including months with no movement
• Collaborate with build/automation teams to ensure results
• Advise clients on realistic expectations and alternatives
