About the job Regional Salas Manager

We are seeking a high-performing Area Sales Director to lead regional sales operations for our Takaful & Investment retail business. The role requires a seasoned sales leader with proven expertise in driving large-scale growth, expanding distribution networks, and managing high-performing teams within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets.
  • Lead retail distribution expansion across assigned locations.
  • Oversee sales operations, productivity, profitability, and compliance with national sales objectives.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate large multi-tiered sales teams across regions.
  • Build strong business relationships with HNWIs, SMEs, corporate clients, and institutional partners.
  • Implement performance management systems, sales incentives, and succession planning.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to recommend proactive business strategies.
  • Partner with senior leadership on marketing, product, and channel initiatives to enhance business growth.
  • Represent the region in strategy meetings, performance reviews, and cross-functional forums.
Required Qualifications
  • Masters degree from a recognized institution.
  • 12 -15 years of progressive experience in retail sales/business development, including 6-8 years in senior leadership within:
    • Financial Services
    • Banking
    • Asset Management
    • Insurance / Takaful
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue targets, business expansion, and large-scale team leadership.
  • Strong connections across retail, affluent, corporate, SME, and HNWI segments.
