Job summary

Mahaana is Pakistan’s first digital wealth management company. We are seeking a Software Engineer focused on React Native to build and maintain mobile apps, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in mobile development and a passion for scalable apps. You will design, code, and review features, ensuring performance and reliability while integrating with RESTful services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 2+ years of mobile app development experience with React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React Native and React.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
• Understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile apps using React Native.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Identify and fix bugs, conduct code reviews, and implement automated testing for reliability.
• Add functionality and fix bugs in the React web codebase as needed.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability across devices.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and tools to improve products.
