Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer Intern to join our QA team. This internship is designed for students who want to gain practical experience in software testing, quality assurance, and professional software development processes.

As a QA Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced QA engineers and developers to help ensure that software applications meet functional, technical, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in testing web and software applications to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
• Understand project requirements and assist in developing effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing under the guidance of senior QA team members.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug‑tracking tools.
• Re‑test resolved issues and verify that reported defects have been properly fixed.
• Assist in validating new features and changes before software releases.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to investigate and resolve reported issues.
• Maintain clear and accurate testing documentation, reports, and test results.
• Participate in QA discussions, sprint meetings, and software release activities.
• Assist in maintaining and improving testing processes and documentation.
• Learn and apply software testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Communicate testing progress, findings, and potential risks to relevant team members.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must have completed at least 5 semesters of the degree program.
• Basic understanding of Software Testing and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of basic testing concepts, including test cases, test scenarios, bug reporting, and regression testing.
• Basic understanding of software development and application workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
