Job summary

VentureDive is seeking a QA Intern eager to learn software testing. You will perform manual testing for web and mobile apps, assist in writing and executing test cases, and report bugs while collaborating with developers.

You'll explore API testing with Postman, gain exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress, and contribute to improving software quality. Basic programming knowledge will help with automation scripting; a passion to learn is essential.

Qualifications

Basic experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.
Understanding of test case creation, bug reporting, and defect tracking.
Some exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, or Cypress).
Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tool.
Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Trello.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and eagerness to learn.
Knowledge of a programming language (Python/Java/JavaScript) for automation scripting is a plus.
Familiarity with AI tools and their basic usage.

Responsibilities

Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to identify bugs and usability issues.
Assist in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Report bugs, track issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure fixes.
Work closely with the development team to improve software quality.
