Job summary

Joblogic Service Management Software invites applicants for a Software QA Automation Engineer in Lahore to help ensure software quality across features, user flows, and edge cases within an Agile environment.

You will perform thorough manual testing, design test scenarios, and build automated tests with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, while integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and contributing to TDD/BDD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years in QA, including 2+ years in automated testing.
• Strong manual testing, test case design, and SDLC/STLC understanding.
• Automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress; ability to write/debug scripts in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps practices, TDD, BDD.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough manual test cycles for features, user flows, edge cases, and regression.
• Design detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and UI layers.
• Build and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable CI runs.
• Support TDD and BDD practices.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and automation frameworks.
• Identify, report, track, and verify bugs using Jira.
