Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to design and implement a robust testing framework across multiple projects in Lahore. The role focuses on building reusable automation libraries, driving performance and usability testing, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor the QA team, consult on testing strategies, and collaborate with development to ensure high-quality releases. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in the professional industry.
• Must have experience with Performance and usability testing.
• Must have experience with Selenium using JAVA, JMeter, Appium & Git.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the test automation framework, harnesses and code libraries to enable the team to both use and enhance them across successive projects
• Provide consultation on complex testing strategies for the Project
• Take the lead on urgent issues and projects, ensuring statuses are properly communicated and appropriate staffing resources are assigned as required
• Provide technical know-how, documentation, and training to test and other business functions
• Stay up to speed on process, practice, and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to the testing problems
• Identify what tools and technologies can be implemented, aligning with that already used across the broader development function and in line with the skill-set of the team
• Possess broad awareness of testing approaches, practices, and techniques in order to help design and deliver the overall testing methodology used by the team
• Create and validate automated scripts that support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline
• Lead in definition and implementation of direction on automation techniques and adherence to standards
• Apply Testing Lifecycle Management principles in the context of a project;
• Mentor the entire quality assurance team
• Evaluate candidates for open positions
