Job summary

Pakistan Era is hiring a public services journalist who follows every process from the official portal, reports policy changes as they are notified, and turns them into guides people can act on the same day.

You will report federal and provincial service changes and write practical, step-by-step guides with real fees, deadlines and helplines. Excellent English and working Urdu are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Policy, Public Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of published reporting on government, public policy or civic issues.
• Excellent written English. Working Urdu is expected.
• A good understanding of how federal and provincial government works in Pakistan.
• Patience with official portals, notifications and gazettes, and the habit of reading them in full.
• Able to write short, clear, step-by-step instructions.

Responsibilities
