A leading company in technical solutions is seeking a skilled Pre-Sales Consultant. This role involves assisting sales teams in customer engagement, developing tailored selling strategies, and collaborating with product management to enhance messaging. The ideal candidate has a strong business background, exceptional communication skills, and a technical understanding of healthcare systems.
? Assisting salespeople in qualifying customer needs and performing pre-demo needs analysis.
? Demonstrating products, both standard and tailored, to suspects and prospects.
? Managing pilots and prototypes.
? Responding in writing to customer requirements and RFPs (Request for Proposals).
? Developing product-centric selling strategies.
? Collaborating with sales on executing specific sales strategies.
? Monitoring and managing technical pre-sales environments.
? Meeting customers and delivering product-centric presentations.
? Developing draft MS Project plans for implementation consulting.
? Developing Statements of Work for implementation consulting.
? Assisting in the selection and recruitment of suitable Pre-Sales personnel.
? Supporting Sales, Product Management, and Development upon request.
? Working with Product Management and Marketing to define/refine sales messages and develop sales packages.
? Producing responses to RFI and RFQ documents.
? Developing industry-specific and technical whitepapers.
? Collaborating with sales personnel to provide product, business, and technical knowledge for pre-sales activities.
? Liaising with Product Managers and Development to understand product direction and communicate back to sales.
? Staying current on product roadmaps, features, functions, and how they address business and technical problems.
? Understanding business and technical problems addressed by products, including regulations and business drivers.
? Attending conferences, working with Subject Matter Experts, and researching market changes.
? Staying informed on competitive analyses and differentiators.
? Preparing for meetings and tailoring communication to client business needs.
? Providing market feedback to Product Management and Development, including gap analysis.
? Developing and delivering training on products and messages for new pre-sales team members.
? Coordinating proofs of concept with Product Management and Development.
? Estimated travel: 25%
? Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.
? Technical background in healthcare and related systems is a plus.
? Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills.
? Experience in technical product configuration or related technology.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
? Previous experience or domain expertise in service operations preferred.
? Persuasive, empathetic, convincing, and competent across various buyers.
? Ability to communicate technical and business information effectively.
? Excellent interpersonal skills.
? Understanding of business processes and problems.
? Strong analytical skills and understanding of data relationships.
? Ability to multi-task and manage multiple subjects and products.
