Job summary

Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) invites applications from senior engineers with a strong background in civil and mechanical works. The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree or equivalent, with at least 15 years of experience on major projects.

The role requires expertise in planning, design, bidding package preparation, construction supervision, and contract/project management, along with knowledge of World Bank

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and Master’s degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on major civil and mechanical works projects, with knowledge of FIDIC contracts and MDB-funded projects.
• Strong technical and engineering skills in planning, design, preparation of specifications and bidding packages, construction supervision and contract/project management.
• Good knowledge of World Bank safeguards policies and practices, procurement guidelines, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and GIS.
• Membership/registration with a recognized professional engineering body is required.

Job Summary

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering plus a Master’s degree in related fields or equivalent from the Higher Education Commission recognized university is required. The postgraduate certificate or diploma in project/construction management shall be preferable.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience on major civil and mechanical works projects; strong knowledge and experience with FIDIC contracts and MDB-funded projects is required.
• The candidate should have strong technical and engineering skills and experience including planning, design, preparation of specifications and bidding packages, construction supervision and contract/project management.
