Job summary

Habib Bank Limited in Karachi is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager/PMO to lead large-scale transformation programs and craft detailed plans and MVP-II roadmaps. You will coordinate with business, technology, operations, vendors, and international stakeholders to ensure timely execution.

You will bring 10+ years in project management with at least 5 years in banking, strong governance and reporting skills, and proficiency with MS Project, Jira, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration with PMP/PgMP or equivalent.
• 10+ years in project management, with 5+ years in banking/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and deployment roadmaps for MVP-II rollout activities.
• Coordinate with business, technology, operations, vendors, and international stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring proactive resolution and escalation where required.
• Facilitate project governance meetings and provide regular status updates to senior management.
• Support International Rollout activities across international allocations and monitor readiness.
• Coordinate testing, deployment, and transition-to-support activities.
• Monitor production stability, incidents, and operational risks; drive RCA and CAPAs.
• Prepare executive dashboards, project status reports, risk registers, and management presentations.

• Support Pilot and Cluster B implementation activitiesacross internationallocations.
• Monitor deployment readiness, cutover activities, and post-go-live support plans.
• Ensure alignment of rollout activities with approved project timelines and business objectives.
• Coordinate testing, deployment, and transition-to-supportactivities.

ProductionStability&SupportOversight

• Track production incidents, service disruptions, and operational risks following implementation.
• Coordinate with support teams to ensure timely resolution of production issues.
• Monitor service stability KPIs, system availability, and operational performance.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and ensure closure of corrective and preventive actions.

StakeholderManagement&Reporting

• Serve as a central coordination point between project teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Prepare executive dashboards, project status reports, risk registers, and management presentations.
• Ensure timely communication of project progress, challenges, and mitigation plans.

Risk,Compliance&QualityAssurance

• Maintain project risk and issue logs and ensure effective mitigation planning.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project governance standards and change management processes.
• Monitor quality deliverables and ensure adherence to deployment and support best practices.
• Strong PMO and project coordination experience in banking or financial technology projects.
• Knowledge of system implementation, rollout management, and production support processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with project governance, reporting, risk management, and issue tracking.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, project management preferably with PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.
• 10+ years of experience in Project management, with a focus on large-scale transformation programs within the banking or financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a bank or financial institution.
