Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of comprehensive engineering project plans, including timelines and budgets, to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure all project tasks are coordinated effectively.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of new facility projects—from initial design through construction—taking full accountability for successful completion.
- Regularly track project milestones, keep all documentation current, and provide progress updates to both regional and site leadership.
- Ensure all project activities comply with applicable laws, safety regulations, and quality standards at every stage.
- Identify risks and challenges early, communicate these to the right parties, and assist in developing practical solutions to keep the project on schedule.
- Act as a point of contact to facilitate clear and consistent communication among internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee vendor-related tasks, including procurement support, contract adherence, and evaluating supplier performance.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as schedule adherence, budget control, and quality outcomes.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in compliant factories.
- Technical Skills:
- Mechanical/Electrical systems and fire safety.
- Reading machine manuals and specs.
- LOTO and electrical/machine safety procedures, SBT, etc.
- Preferred Skills:
- Supervisory certification (advantageous).
- Strong problem‑solving and team management skills.
- Strong communication and adaptability.
- Adherence to industrial safety standards.
- Clear understanding of A3, CAPEX & OPEX.
