Job summary

A leading non-profit organization based in Multan is seeking an experienced horticulture professional to manage green infrastructure projects. Job description

Duty Station: Multan / Field Sites
Duration: 7 months (Dec 2025 – June 2026)
Reporting to: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and monitor all horticultural and green infrastructure activities, including plantation of native species, wetland vegetation, and urban greening.
  • Develop plantation designs, species selection plans, and maintenance protocols.
  • Coordinate with local nurseries, agriculture departments, and universities for technical support.
  • Conduct community awareness sessions on climate-smart horticulture and ecosystem restoration.
  • Maintain detailed records on plant survival rates, soil conditions, and biodiversity impact.
  • Support documentation of success stories and project communication materials.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s in Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plantation, landscaping, or green infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with donor-funded climate or environment programs preferred.
Core Competencies
  • Knowledge of native flora and sustainable irrigation practices.
  • Strong community coordination and field monitoring skills.
  • Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
