Job summary

Nestlé Pakistan is hiring a Production Planner for the Sheikhupura Factory. You will develop feasible short-term production plans within capacity and material limits, ensuring material availability to meet production goals while balancing service, cost, and inventory.

You will coordinate with suppliers, set stock policies, and address supply constraints across raw and packaging materials, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous production and alignment with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Distribution Operations, Warehousing, or a related function.
• Working knowledge of SAP and MS Office; familiarity with relevant SAP Supply Chain/Materials Management modules is preferred.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to take initiative and successfully deliver improvement projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop feasible short-term production plans within DPS horizon considering capacity, manpower, materials, and constraints.
• Identify and address operational constraints, including plant shutdowns and promotions.
• Develop optimized replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and material availability.
• Define stock policies and inventory management approaches for assigned SKUs.
• Identify and resolve material supply and demand issues with stakeholders.
• Engage suppliers in Supply Chain improvement initiatives to drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production continuity.

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for developing feasible and optimized short-term production plans within capacity and material constraints. A Day in the Life of a Production Planner

• Develop feasible short-term production plans within the DPS horizon, considering available capacity, manpower, materials, and production constraints.

• Identify and proactively address operational constraints, including plant shutdowns, promotional activities, and production requirements.

• Develop optimized replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Coordinate directly with assigned suppliers to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials.

• Define appropriate stock policies and inventory management approaches for assigned SKUs.

• Identify and resolve material supply and demand issues for raw and packaging materials in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

• Engage suppliers in Supply Chain improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and create shared value.

What Will Make You Successful?
