Job summary

Pixis is expanding its engineering team and seeks AI/ML engineers with hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade AI products. You’ll work on AI agents, tool calling, RAG, and production AI infrastructure across IDE, web, and mobile contexts.

Ideal candidates have strong Python, TypeScript, and Bun skills, hands-on AI agents experience, and a track record of taking AI systems from prototype to production, including working with multiple LLM providers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI agents and workflows.
• Proven ability to ship AI systems from prototype to production.
• Experience with evaluation, reliability, latency, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with multiple LLM providers and tool calling.
• Knowledge of Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Work on tool calling, MCP, RAG and context engineering.
• Perform LLM evaluation, routing, and optimization.
• Contribute to code intelligence and repository understanding.
• Support production AI infrastructure and model integrations.
