Job summary

Jeeny in Lahore is seeking a highly technical Product Manager to own and scale our core payment infrastructure in a high-volume, real-time ride-hailing environment. You will optimize PSP integrations (Stripe, Adyen, Checkout.com, local acquirers), improve routing, and drive faster payouts to drivers while reducing costs.

Responsibilities focus on end-to-end payment architecture, dynamic routing, and fraud/revenue controls, with collaboration across Risk, Finance, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Management experience directly handling payment infrastructure or FinTech products.
• Deep technical understanding of the payment ecosystem including PSPs and card networks.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and integrating third-party vendors.
• Strong data fluency; able to analyze authorization rates, latency, and routing performance with SQL/BI tools.

Responsibilities

Jeeny is a mobile application that eases daily commuting and transportation. By connecting you with your preferred mode of transportation, we are fulfilling our aim of making mobility accessible, affordable, and flexible for all.

We are a joint venture between MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA. Jeeny was established in 2014 as Easy Taxi. However, in 2016, it was revamped as Jeeny to cater to other services. Currently, we are operational in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical Product Manager to own and scale our core payment infrastructure. In the high-volume, real-time environment of ride-hailing, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless money movement across our two-sided marketplace. You will optimize global and local Payment Service Provider (PSP) integrations, maximize authorization rates, reduce processing costs via dynamic routing, and ensure lightning-fast payouts to our drivers.

Responsibilities

Payment Infrastructure & PSP Management

• Own the end-to-end architecture of our payment routing engine and PSP integrations (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Checkout.com, local acquirers).
• Design and implement dynamic payment routing and fallback logic to maximize authorization rates and minimize processing costs.
• Monitor system uptime, API latency, and vendor SLAs, leading technical troubleshooting for payment failures.

Rider Payment Experience

• Optimize the app payment flows, including card tokenization, wallet linkage, and frictionless checkout experiences.
• Expand our alternative payment method (APM) footprint by evaluating and integrating localized payment options.
• Manage 3DS 2.0 flows and merchant-initiated transactions (MIT) to balance PSD2 compliance with conversion rates.

Driver Payouts & Settlement

• Build and scale reliable payout rails for drivers, ensuring accurate and on-time disbursements.
• Develop "instant payout" capabilities integrating with real-time rail networks (e.g., Visa Direct, Mastercard Send).
• Reduce payout failure rates through improved validation and vendor redundancy.

Risk, Fraud & Revenue Capture

• Design transaction flows to handle edge cases specific to ride-hailing, such as final fare adjustments and failed captures.
• Collaborate with the Risk team to optimize fraud rules, actively driving down false decline rates and minimizing chargebacks.
• Build automated debt collection and retry logic for uncollected rider balances.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Product Management experience directly managing payment infrastructure, payment gateways, or core FinTech products.
• Deep technical understanding of the payment ecosystem (acquirers, issuers, card networks, tokenization, 3DS).
• Proven experience building and managing REST APIs and third-party vendor integrations.
• Strong data fluency; comfortable using SQL and BI tools to analyze authorization rates, latency, and routing performance.
• Experience in a high-volume transactional environment (ride-hailing, food delivery, or two-sided marketplaces) is highly preferred.
