Job summary

Adidas is seeking a seasoned engineer to drive development and commercialization of assigned products, collaborating with Tier1 factories and technical teams to ensure manufacturability, material standards, and cost targets. The role requires deep product engineering knowledge and the ability to translate design into samples and production with a strong Create to Value mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of product engineering and commercialization timelines.
• Able to identify problems and provide effective solutions.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing, testing processes, and materials.
• Ability to read shell patterns, 2D/3D blueprints, BOM and related data.
• Understanding of costing principles and cost breakdowns.
• Creative mindset; strong influencing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and commercialization process of assigned products with Tier1 factory personnel and technical teams.
• Provide technical expertise to transition design into samples and production while ensuring manufacturability, material standards, and cost targets.
• Upgrade technical applications and processes and implement new technology in development and engineering.
• Supervise direct development between HQ/Creation Center and Tier1 factory ensuring Create to Value and product integrity.
• Influence HQ and external parties and drive change using Adidas standards as the center of focus.
• Make day-to-day decisions within defined scope and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Execute defined directives.
• Role model Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
