As one of Pakistan’s leading and largest banks, NBP continues to contribute significantly to socioeconomic growth with an objective of becoming a future-fit, agile, and sustainable bank.In line with its strategy, National Bank of Pakistan is seeking talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals for the following position in the area of **Logistics, Communications & Marketing**, based in **Karachi**.## Educational / Professional Qualification* Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.* Candidates holding a Master’s degree and/or relevant diploma or certification(s) will be preferred.Jobs## Experience* Minimum **03 years of relevant work experience** in procurement of goods and services, preferably in bank(s).* Candidates with experience in procurement through the tendering process in accordance with **PPRA Rules** will be preferred.## Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required* Good administrative and interpersonal skills.* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.* Training on **EPADS (e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System)** or other Federal/Provincial public procurement regulatory authority platforms in Pakistan will be preferred.* Ability to communicate ideas effectively, pay attention to detail, prioritize tasks, and accomplish assignments efficiently.* Proficiency in **MS Office**, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.## Main Duties & Responsibilities* Assist the Departmental Head in preparing and implementing the Public Procurement Strategy/Plan.* Ensure implementation and compliance with SOPs and timely delivery of equipment across the Bank’s network.* Develop Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for various goods, including furniture, sign boards, office equipment, electrical appliances, stationery items, and other requirements of the Bank.* Analyze procurement demands and plan accordingly for timely procurement.* Process publication of RFQs on EPADS.* Ensure timely posting of all RFQs and purchase orders on EPADS.* Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of procurement activities for audit, compliance, and reporting purposes.* Process approval notes and supplier payments in accordance with the Bank’s rules, regulations, and SOPs.* Perform any other assignments entrusted by the supervisor(s).Banking## Assessment Test / InterviewOnly shortlisted candidates who strictly meet the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for a test and/or panel interview.## Employment Terms & BenefitsThe employment will be on a **contractual basis for three years**, which may be renewed at the discretion of Management.Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits in accordance with the Bank’s applicable policies and rules.## How to ApplyInterested candidates should apply online through the **National Bank of Pakistan’s designated careers portal** , following the given instructions.South Asians & DiasporaApplications received after the due date will not be considered.**Important Notes:*** No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.* Only candidates meeting the specified eligibility criteria will be considered for the selection process.* National Bank of Pakistan is an **equal opportunity employer** and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of gender, religion, or disability.
