Job summary

Encotec Projects Resource Office is seeking a senior Process Safety engineer with 10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects. The role requires deep expertise in Process Safety, with hands-on use of PHAST/Safeti/ALOHA and HAZOP/LOPA facilitation.

Education: BSc in Chemical or Process Engineering, Process Safety specialization preferred. The successful candidate will develop and review safety deliverables and provide technical guidance across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in Process Safety engineering.
• Proficient with PHAST/Safeti/ALOHA or equivalent software.
• Experience with HAZOP/LOPA facilitation and PHA-Pro.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and check key Process Safety deliverables within own area of responsibility.
• Verify calculations and deliverables prepared by engineers within own area of responsibility.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers on complex or non-routine Process Safety issues.
• Represent the Process Safety discipline in model/design reviews as assigned by Lead Engineer.
• Ensure deliverables comply with IEC 61508/61511, IEC 61882 (HAZOP), CCPS guidelines and LOPA methods.
