Job summary

The Children\'s Place in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a Principal Application Engineer to lead and contribute to the development and support of enterprise applications. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SDLC for critical services from concept through production support
• Escalate, assist, and follow through on resolution of issues related to delivery of technology solutions
• Initiate and foster business partnerships with business partners, vendors and senior business leaders
• Lead design reviews, establish coding standards and drive best practices for API Design
• Anticipate and manage technology evolution and relate it to business solutions
• Ensure system reliability through robust monitoring, alerting and performance tuning

Job description

The Principal Application Engineer will play a hands‑on role on the Application Development Team. This position will lead and actively participate in both custom development and 3rd party technical application support. This position is responsible for architecture, design and delivery of enterprise applications. The role blends hands‑on development with leadership, guiding engineering standards and responsible for SDLC for custom developed applications. The position also requires the ability to mentor, coach and perform code reviews. Ensure applications adhere to company standards and follows a consistent architecture.
