Job summary

Siflex Pvt Ltd in Karachi is seeking a detail‑driven Pre‑Press Specialist to support Gravure and Flexo printing on flexible packaging. You will handle color separation, image retouching, and layout optimization for cylindrical substrates.

You will collaborate with production and vendors to ensure timely tool delivery, maintain 100% artwork accuracy against customer specs, and troubleshoot potential issues during design to minimize waste. Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on Pre-Press experience in a Flexible Packaging company.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Deep understanding of Gravure cylinder specs and Flexographic plate mounting/processing.
• Strong attention to typography, color codes, and barcodes.

Responsibilities

• File preparation for Gravure and Flexo printing, including color separation and image retouching.
• Optimize layouts based on cylinder circumference, gear pitch, and distortion factors for flexible substrates.
• Check final artworks against customer specifications to ensure 100% accuracy before production.
• Coordinate with production and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of printing tools.
• Troubleshoot potential printing issues during design to minimize waste on the shop floor.
