Job summary

Datamatics-Global-Services-Ltd in KSA seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to install, configure, and operate an on-premises data platform, focusing on infrastructure setup, platform administration, security integration, and environment management across Development, QA, and Production environments.

The role requires hands-on deployment of MinIO, Apache Iceberg, Starburst/Dremio, Spark, and Informatica in a highly secure enterprise.

Qualifications

Must-have platform engineering skills for on-prem environments (data platform components).
Experience deploying secure data lakes/warehouses with enterprise tooling is required.
Strong troubleshooting and operational support capabilities are essential.
Familiarity with IAM, PAM, SSO, and RBAC integration is needed.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer data platform components in on-prem environments.
Deploy and manage MinIO Object Storage and Iceberg-based data lakehouse architecture.
Install, configure, and optimize Starburst and/or Dremio for data virtualization and querying.
Deploy and administer Apache Spark clusters and processing services.
Integrate Informatica components and ensure seamless platform integration.
Configure and maintain Development, QA, and Production environments.
Implement Git-based DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Oversee monitoring, logging, backup, DR, and operational readiness.
