Datamatics-Global-Services-Ltd is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support on-premises data platform installation, configuration, and operation in a highly secured environment in KSA. You will focus on infrastructure setup, platform administration, security integration, and reliability across Development, QA, and Production.

The candidate will deploy and manage MinIO, Iceberg, Spark clusters, and Informatica components, with strong troubleshooting and DevOps discipline.

Qualificações

• Must have hands-on experience administering data platform components in secure, on-premises environments.
• Strong expertise with MinIO, Apache Iceberg, and data virtualization platforms.
• Proficient in Linux, VMware, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and administer on-prem data platform components.
• Deploy and manage MinIO and Iceberg-based data lakehouse architecture.
• Configure Starburst/Dremio for data virtualization and querying.
• Operate Apache Spark clusters and processing services.
• Manage Informatica components and platform integrations.
• Maintain development, QA, and production environments.
• Integrate with IAM, PAM, AD/LDAP, SSO, and RBAC.
• Implement Git-based DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Monitor, back up, and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate across infra, security, and applications teams.

Job Description – Platform Engineer

Job Title: Platform Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the installation, configuration, integration, and operationalization of an on-premises modern data platform. The role will focus on infrastructure setup, platform administration, security integration, environment management, and platform reliability across Development, QA, and Production environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying enterprise data platforms in highly secured environments, with strong troubleshooting, operational support, and infrastructure management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer data platform components in an on-premises environment.
• Deploy and manage MinIO Object Storage and Apache Iceberg-based data lakehouse architecture.
• Install, configure, and optimize Starburst and/or Dremio platforms for data virtualization and querying.
• Deploy, administer, and support Apache Spark clusters and processing services.
• Install, configure, and manage Informatica components and ensure seamless integration with the platform ecosystem.
• Configure and maintain Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Integrate platform components with enterprise security services, including:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Active Directory / LDAP
  • Single Sign-On (SSO) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Implement and support Git-based DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Manage monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability, availability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, integration, and connectivity issues across the platform stack.
