Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer for the Platform in Islamabad to design, build, and own backend APIs powering payments, subscriptions, auth, consumption tracking, and analytics for millions of users across web, iOS, Android, and Chrome.

You will work with TypeScript/Node, GCP, and containerized deployments on Kubernetes, focusing on high availability, scalability, and reliability in a distributed, asynchronous culture.

Qualifications

• Proven backend experience in TypeScript/Node.js.
• Direct experience with cloud platforms (GCP; AWS or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own backend APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, consumption tracking, and the public TTS API.
• Improve and stabilize existing services; drive performance and reliability.
