Job Description
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our automation capabilities. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining control systems, particularly Siemens control systems such as TIA Portal, S7, WinCC, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Control System Design: Design and develop automation and control systems, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems using Siemens TIA Portal and S7.
- HMI Development: Create and configure Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems using Siemens TIA Portal for efficient process monitoring and control.
- System Integration: Integrate and optimize automation solutions within our manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Programming: Develop and maintain PLC programs, ensuring they align with production requirements and safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with control systems, minimizing downtime and improving system reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of control system designs, modifications, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers and maintenance technicians, to implement automation solutions that meet production goals.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that automation systems and processes comply with regulatory and industry standards.
- Training: Provide training and support to operations and maintenance teams on control system operation and troubleshooting.

Job Specification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Language Requirements: English (Written and Oral), Chinese (a plus, not mandatory).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience working with Siemens control systems, including TIA Portal, S7, WinCC, and others.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI development.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
