Job summary

Cyber Nest in Lahore is hiring a PHP Laravel Developer to join our Web Development Team. You will build scalable web applications in a LAMP environment and own parts of the development lifecycle from design to deployment.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years’ PHP experience with Laravel, solid MySQL/MongoDB knowledge, and familiarity with containerization and CI/CD. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to high-quality code.

Qualifications

Cyber Nest is a fast-growing technology company with fully established businesses in the USA and Australia. We are expanding our team and are looking for a PHP Laravel Developer to join our talented Web Development Team.

As a Laravel Developer, you will produce scalable software solutions and work as part of a cross-functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in a LAMP environment.
• Hands-on experience in Laravel is a must.
• Working knowledge of WordPress (WP).
• Strong knowledge of database design and troubleshooting (MySQL / MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices.
• Coordinating and participating in programming, implementation, testing, and support of web-based projects using the LAMP solution stack.
• Programming, developing, and producing data-driven web applications, websites, and mobile apps using the latest technology solutions.

Must-Have Skills & Tools:

• Experience with GitHub CI/CD, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, InfluxDB.
• Strong experience with MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or RDS.
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos.
• Familiarity with Apache, Nginx, HAProxy.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms and ecosystems like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent team player with strong judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of React JS and Vue JS is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of experience in PHP development, with hands-on Laravel experience.
