Job summary

Nokhba.AI is seeking a part-time DevOps Engineer to maintain, secure, and improve its remote cloud infrastructure as the platform grows.

The role collaborates with the development team to keep infrastructure stable, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, supporting production and development environments.

Responsibilities include managing cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backups, security, and cost optimization to prepare for future growth.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux server administration and infrastructure management experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitHub deployment workflows.
• Good knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, SSL certificates, firewalls, and server security.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, backups, recovery, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and document infrastructure clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud and server infrastructure, production and development environments.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Monitor system performance, availability, logs, and backups.
• Configure and maintain DNS, SSL certificates, servers, and security rules.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, downtime, and deployment issues.
• Apply security updates and manage credentials securely.
• Optimize infrastructure to reduce hosting costs.
• Document deployment, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Prepare platform for future growth and traffic.
