Job summary

NorthBay Solutions LLC is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with backend services and ensure smooth operation across infrastructure layers.

Ideal candidates should be proficient in Python, Docker, SQL, and AWS services, demonstrating excellent troubleshooting skills and a strong ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional software / DevOps / cloud engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and HTTP.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL (MySQL preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Manage infrastructure using AWS CDK.
• Build, manage, and debug Docker containers.
• Deploy and manage services on ECS (Fargate).
• Monitor systems using CloudWatch and Sentry.
