Responsibilities

• Process cash credit and debit card payments accurately
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products prices and store policies
• Scan items and enter prices accurately into the system
• Bag merchandise for customers and assist with carrying out large items if needed
• Ensure all sales transactions are completed efficiently and accurately
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus
