Job summary

Pakistan seeks a site support staff in Islamabad to assist authorized PMU personnel with routine logistical tasks, movement and stacking of supplies, furniture and project materials; help prepare meeting venues and field visit logistics.

The role requires primary/middle education, at least 3 years of experience in site support or project logistics; age up to 40 years. Work under supervision on non-technical tasks, maintain cleanliness, and report hazards.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Primary/Middle education preferred; ability to understand safety instructions and undertake routine manual support tasks.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in site support, store handling, general maintenance assistance or project logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist authorized PMU personnel with routine logistical support, movement and orderly stacking of non-hazardous supplies, furniture and project materials.
• Assist with physical receipt, counting, labelling, movement and storage of supplies under supervision.
• Assist in preparing meeting venues, field visit logistics, temporary work areas and non-technical site arrangements.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic order in assigned storage and work areas; Ensure proper collection and disposal of waste and promptly report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the immediate supervisor.
• Assist skilled technical staff only with basic non-electrical, non-specialist tasks under direct supervision and applicable safety instructions.
• Do not operate electrical systems, solar PV equipment, lifting machinery, vehicles or hazardous tools unless separately trained and expressly authorized.
• Follow PPE, manual-handling, fire-safety and weather-related precautions; promptly report injuries, damage and safety hazards.
• Maintain accountability for tools and materials issued for work; report loss or damage immediately.
• Perform other lawful general support duties assigned by authorized supervisor.
