Edversity in Pakistan is seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Instructor to lead live sessions for the 12-week Cybersecurity Analyst Program, focused on entry-level SOC and blue-team tasks. You will design labs, review student work, mentor learners, and help them build a portfolio with real tools and projects, emphasizing practical defense skills and interview readiness.

This online, part-time/contract role requires 3+ years of defensive cybersecurity experience and the ability to teach beginners

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in a defensive cybersecurity role.
• Experience as a SOC Analyst, Security Engineer, Incident Responder, or blue-team analyst.
• Strong practical understanding of SIEM, log analysis, networking, Linux security, and Windows security.
• Working knowledge of web application security and OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and incident response workflows.
• Basic scripting in Bash and/or Python.
• Fluent English with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, hands-on cybersecurity sessions across a 12-week cohort.
• Lead 3 sessions per week, 2 hours per session.
• Teach practical blue-team and SOC concepts using real tools and scenarios.
• Design and run labs covering SIEM, log analysis, incident response, threat detection, web security, cloud security, and security monitoring.
• Review weekly lab submissions, quizzes, reports, and practical assignments.
• Provide feedback to students and mentor learners on portfolio projects.
