Job summary

Aga Khan University (AKU) invites applications for the position of Coordinator in the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at its Karachi campus. The role focuses on administrative support, data management, and quality initiatives to advance maternal and reproductive health.

You will oversee M&M reporting, patient feedback processes, and compliance with ISO/JCIA standards, while coordinating meetings, training programs, and events within the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare management or nursing from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of three years' experience in clinical operations, quality improvement or patient safety.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong ability to handle stress, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compile, and circulate monthly Morbidity & Mortality (M&M) meeting reports and maintain data logs.
• Manage record keeping, response documentation and follow-ups of patient feedback, complaints and incident reports.
• Support compliance with ISO, JCIA, and other quality improvement initiatives within the department.
• Coordinate meetings and prepare minutes and rolling action lists.
• Assist in administration of in-service examinations, teaching sessions, and training programs (S/MO, Internship, Instructor Programs).
• Track attendance and maintain records for academic, training, and CME activities.
• Coordinate logistics for academic events, CME sessions, and departmental projects.
• Maintain assigned program, faculty and staff records/files.
• Support special projects, institutional events, and other duties as assigned.
