SRCA is seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our onsite development team in Karachi. You will build and maintain scalable server-side applications, develop APIs, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

The role requires 2+ years of professional Node.js experience, proficiency in JavaScript, and hands-on work with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. You will collaborate with frontend developers and stay updated with backend technologies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional Node.js development.
• Strong JavaScript and asynchronous programming skills.
• Experience with Express.js or similar Node frameworks.
• Hands-on REST APIs and third-party API integration.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Version control with Git; AWS/Docker/CI/CD is a plus.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable RESTful APIs
• Implement data storage solutions with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Implement security, data protection, and authentication/authorization
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
• Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and best practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in Node.js development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming
