Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant in Karachi, Pakistan. You will maintain financial records, prepare reports, and support overall financial management while handling month-end accruals, payroll tasks, and asset depreciation. This role requires strong accounting knowledge and comfort working with US clients.

The position operates on a 6 PM–3 AM Pakistan time shift, is full-time, and based on-site to support our finance team in Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with US clients.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shift hours 6 PM - 3 AM Pakistan time.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day banking and credit card transactions accurately.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable and track invoices.
• Enter general journal entries for miscellaneous transactions.
• Reconcile vendor and customer statements.
• Record month-end accruals.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Prepare prepaid expense schedules.
• Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation.
• Reconcile inventory and adjust as needed.
• Generate 1099 data for review.
