Job summary

TransitPro Solutions in Gujrat, Pakistan is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to manage our network infrastructure and ensure smooth system operation. The role involves configuring routers, switches, firewalls, monitoring performance, and providing user support.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with hands-on skills in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and security tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of Network and Systems Administration experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, FTP, etc.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs and IDS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain security protocols and data protection across the network.
• Perform regular backups for disaster recovery.
• Provide technical support to employees regarding network connectivity and system usage.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software, licenses and warranties.
• Perform regular system updates and upgrades to improve functionality.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware/software issues.
• Create documentation for network configurations, processes and procedures.
