Job summary

9D-Technologies & Hazel Mobile is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain complex LAN/WAN and cloud networking across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will configure routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs, plus automate infrastructure with Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible.

The role requires hands‑on experience with BGP/OSPF, VXLAN, and enterprise security tools, plus proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, iperf, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud network infrastructure across on-premises, AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
• Configure and manage routing, switching, firewalls, and network technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, and STP.
• Build and maintain secure site-to-site and remote-access VPNs using IPsec, WireGuard, OpenVPN, or similar technologies.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Systems teams.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, and enterprise networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud network infrastructure across on-premises, AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
• Configure and manage routing, switching, firewalls, and network technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, and STP.

• Troubleshoot complex connectivity, latency, throughput, and packet-loss issues.

• Implement monitoring and alerting using tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, SNMP, and NetFlow.
• Ensure network resilience through capacity planning, redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Systems teams.

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPNs, and enterprise networking.
• Hands‑on experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, STP, and enterprise firewalls.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure networking.
• Strong understanding of network security and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and iperf.
• Experience with automation and IaC using Python, Bash, Terraform, and/or Ansible.

• Relevant networking or cloud certifications are a plus.
