Job summary

Proto is seeking a motion designer to create strategic SaaS video content that strengthens our brand and boosts website engagement. You will manage end-to-end production from planning to delivery, with a focus on video editing and motion graphics.

The role also covers marketing asset production and collaboration with sales/CX teams to deliver customized demo recordings. Residency in Pakistan is required, and you will work with cutting-edge AI tools for content generation.

Role Overview

Motion designer responsible for creating professional and strategic video content that strengthens Proto brand presence, supports marketing campaigns, and enhances website engagement. This role manages the end-to-end video production process, from planning and concept development to asset collection, editing, and final delivery.

The role offers a blend of responsibilities, with a primary focus on video editing and motion design and secondary focus on marketing assets production (social media images, website assets, presentations and pdf files) and sales and CX team support via delivery of customized demo recordings.

Key Responsibilities

• Create SaaS product demo video
• Develop product walkthrough and tutorial videos
• Record and customize product demos for sales and client support teams
• Produce product UI demonstration videos for website and marketing use
• Work with LLM tools to generate footage to be used in videos
• Work with LLM tools to generate voice over
• Miscallenious marketing asset production (title images for website and social media, presentations, one-pagers, etc)
• Plan, coordinate, produce, and edit video content from concept through final delivery.
• Produce client testimonial and customer story videos t
• Recommend suitable production approaches such as live-action, screen recording, motion graphics, or hybrid formats.
• Ensure all video outputs align with Proto's brand standards and messaging.
• Optimize content for website, LinkedIn, social media, and sales enablement channels.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather requirements, feedback, and approvals.
• Maintain organized project files and content libraries.

Required Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating SaaS product motion design with a focus on product walkthrough and UI.
• Examples of marketing and social assets production
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects
• Proficiency with modern LLM and AI tools - Midjourney, Gemini, Kling, Higgsfield and other tools for visual content generation (images, video scenes, audio). We are looking for a candidate that navigates the everchanging LLM landscape and knows what's the best model to do the required job
• Strong familiarity with Figma to extract and recompose product UI element, as well as collaborate on the marketing content
• Experience with screen capture for product demo recording, i.e. Screen Studio.
• Experience with Google slides for presentation production
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, branding, and audience engagement.
• Proven experience in video production, video editing, or multimedia content creation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience working with B2B, SaaS, customer experience, outsourcing, or technology companies.
• Motion graphics and animation experience.
• Familiarity with Webflow or collaboration with website teams.
• Knowledge of interactive animation tools such as Rive is a plus.
