Job summary

FZ Technologies is seeking a Game UI Designer to create engaging interfaces for mobile games across multiple genres. The role involves collaborating with game designers, artists, developers, and product stakeholders to translate gameplay concepts into clear, polished, and user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities include designing menus, HUDs, dialogs, and icons, creating wireframes and prototypes, and building production-ready assets while refining designs through feedback and testing.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of game UI/UX principles, information hierarchy, interaction patterns, and mobile usability.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or comparable software.
• Ability to create polished visual designs for menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, dialogs, and in-game feedback states.
• Knowledge of responsive layouts, resolution considerations, typography, color theory, and accessibility fundamentals.
• Experience preparing optimized assets and clear handoff documentation for developers.

Responsibilities

• Design game menus, HUDs, dialogs, buttons, icons, pop-ups, onboarding flows, inventory screens, and other interface elements.
• Create wireframes, user flows, visual mockups, and interactive prototypes for mobile game experiences.
• Develop consistent UI visual systems, layouts, typography, color palettes, and component guidelines.
• Prepare production-ready assets and communicate specifications clearly to development teams.
• Review implemented interfaces, identify usability or visual issues, and refine designs through testing and feedback.
• Stay informed about mobile game interface trends and contribute creative ideas.
