Job summary

Sequel Technologies, a software company providing healthcare IT and medical billing services to the US market, is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to manage provider credentialing and payer enrollment with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.

Based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi, this in-person role requires 4-5 years of US healthcare credentialing experience and offers full-time hours with healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-5 years of experience in US healthcare provider credentialing/payer enrollment.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes.
• Experience with CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and payer portals.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing, payer enrollment, recredentialing, and revalidation.
• Prepare, submit, and track applications with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Maintain provider profiles in CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and payer portals.
• Collect and verify provider licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, and other documents.
• Follow up with payers regarding application status, missing information, and enrollment issues.
• Maintain accurate provider records and enrollment information.
• Monitor credential and license expirations and ensure timely renewals.
• Verify payer participation, effective dates, and provider affiliations.
• Coordinate with providers, practice managers, payers, and internal teams.
• Assist with EDI and ERA/EFT enrollment when required.
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, HIPAA, and company policies.
