Job summary

Connect Logistics in Karachi is seeking an experienced MHE Operator to manage high-density storage and goods movement within our warehouse facility. You will drive forklifts and other MHE, perform accurate stock picking, ensure proper load securing, and maintain battery health while following weight distribution and QSHE safety standards.

Responsibilities include inbound storage operations, order preparation, outbound loading, equipment safety checks, housekeeping, and strict adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating MHE in a warehouse or logistics setting.

• Ability to follow QSHE rules and maintain safe systems of work.

Job description

As an MHE Operator, you will be key to managing high-density storage and goods movement within our warehouse facility. You will combine technical equipment driving skills with precision stock picking, load securing, battery maintenance, and strict adherence to weight distribution guidelines and workplace safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Inbound & Storage Operations: Unload inbound shipments safely, transfer products to assigned storage areas, and efficiently stack and store merchandise at correct rack heights.
• Order Preparation & Picking: Make up distribution orders, perform picking duties to exact count/type specifications, and pull product to meet customer service standards.
• Outbound Loading & Transit Security: Prepare products for shipment, ensure exact order verification, and secure pallets properly for safe transit.
• Equipment Maintenance & Safety Checks: Conduct visual and operational checks on MHE prior to use to ensure good working order; perform routine battery recharging and battery care.
• Warehouse & Dock Housekeeping: Keep aisles, driveways, and roadways clear of litter, debris, and hazards to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow.
• QSHE & Safety Compliance: Assess load weights, judge distances and heights accurately, abide by facility QSHE rules, maintain safe systems of work, and immediately report hazardous acts or conditions.

Requirements

• Education: Middle or Matriculation.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as an MHE Operator in a warehouse or logistics.
• Equipment Proficiency: Proven skills in operating Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Powered Pallet Jacks, and other MHE units.
• Technical Understanding: Good grasp of weight limits, load center distribution, distance estimation, and rack height safety.
