Job summary

KnowledgeCity is hiring a Web Developer to build production MERN stack web applications and integrate Claude AI features. You will own features end to end—from data models and APIs to React UI, AI integration, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

You will use Claude Code and maintain code quality with rigorous testing and reviews. You will collaborate with AI, product, content, and design teams, design observability, and drive reliable, scalable solutions in production.

Qualifications

• Experience building production MERN stack web apps.
• Experience integrating Claude and AI tooling in product features.
• Ability to design data models and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features using MERN stack.
• Create REST APIs and data models; optimize queries.
• Develop responsive React UI with clean state management.
• Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, and secure data handling.
• Write tests; participate in code reviews; maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and monitor services in production; ensure performance and reliability.
• Integrate Claude API and agentic workflows; ensure proper gating and logging.
• Collaborate with AI, product, content, and design teams; document systems and runbooks.
