A well-established retail company in Karachi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandiser to join our team on a contractual basis As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for selecting purchasing and managing the product lines for our stores This includes conducting market research analyzing trends and sales data negotiating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of products You will also work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to increase sales and profitability

Key Responsibilities

• Selecting and purchasing product lines for our stores based on market trends customer preferences and budget constraints
• Analyzing sales data to identify top-selling products and making recommendations for product assortment
• Negotiating with suppliers for competitive pricing quality standards and timely delivery of products
• Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new partnerships to expand product offerings
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop effective promotions and campaigns to drive sales
• Conducting regular store visits to monitor product displays inventory levels and gathering customer feedback
• Managing inventory levels including stock replenishment and markdowns to ensure maximum profitability
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends competitor activities and consumer behavior to make informed decisions about product selection

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Merchandiser in a retail or fashion industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing competitive pricing from suppliers

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this contract position
