Job summary

Ips BPO in Lahore is seeking an experienced MEP drafter to prepare permit drawings across Elec, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire and Solar systems. You will ensure compliance with applicable codes and coordinate with architectural and structural teams.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills and a basic knowledge of Navisworks for clash review. This is a full-time on-site position based in Lahore, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing MEP permit drawings for buildings.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire protection basics.
• Knowledge of coordination with architectural and structural plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP permit drawings (Elec/HVAC/Plumbing/Fire/Solar) including plans, risers, details, schedules.
• Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural plans, structural constraints.
• Perform internal QC, manage revisions, and issue clean drawing sets for submittal and construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP permit drawings (Elec/HVAC/Plumbing/Fire/Solar) including plans, risers, details, schedules.
• Ensure compliance with NEC/IPC/UPC/CBC/CMC/CPC/CFC/ASHARE, Title 24, CALGreen and local amendments
• Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural plans, structural constraints
• Perform internal QC, manage revisions, and issue clean drawing sets for submittal and construction

Key Skills

• Understanding of HVAC systems, Duct routing concepts and airflow fundamentals
• Understanding of Plumbing systems:Domestic cold/hot water, recirculation, sanitary, vent, storm (as applicable)
• Understanding of Fire Protection, Sprinkler layouts, hazard classifications (basic), coordination principles
• Understanding of Electrical systems: Lighting, Power, SLD, Low Voltage

Software & IT Skills

• AutoCAD (2D drafting) — strong proficiency expected
• Navisworks (basic) — clash review / coordination (optional but valuable)
